Membership is open only to economically active poor women and men, who are deprived, vulnerable and end to engage in small economic activities which can be supported by small loans. These activities contribute substantially to the local economy by providing useful goods and services and improving the conditions of their households, particularly those of children in terms of nutrition, health, education and general welfare.

DeNFik Empowerment Centre is a national institution with an international perspective. It is dedicated to mobilizing resources and offering financial services to the entrepreneurial poor that have little or no access to conventional forms of financial services.

The centre operates as a viable institution by hinging its services and operations on global best practice approaches perfected by ASA Bangladesh- a global market leader in providing microfinance services introduced to Nigeria through the UNDP assisted micro start program.

Mr Saheed Olufemi Samuel
Managing Director of DeNFik and an experienced microfinance professional trained by Frankfurt School of Finance & Management, School of African Microfinance, and Accion International. He holds a BSc, MBA, is a Certified Public Administrator and Chartered Banker. He provides strategic leadership, ensures financial sustainability, regulatory compliance, and drives growth.
Mr Ayodeji Jibodu
Ayodeji Jibodu is a seasoned microfinance professional with over 20 years’ experience in credit administration, banking operations, and business development. He served as Managing Director/CEO of ESO-E Microfinance Bank for eight years. An Accounting graduate and associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, he leads DeNFik’s Finance and Control Team.
Mrs Onwubiko Nnena
Operations Manager & Auditor at DeNFik, holding a BSc.Ed in Accounting. She is a results-driven professional with microfinance experience, skilled in managing daily operations, ensuring compliance, and optimizing financial processes. She excels in risk management, investor relations, software systems, team leadership, and driving strong financial performance.
Mr Joel Odugbayi
Head of Management Information System (MIS) at DeNFik . A tech-savvy documentation and data management specialist, he is proficient in banking software and Microsoft Office tools. He oversees data management, reporting, process automation, risk analysis, and client loan tracking, supporting efficient operations and informed decision-making.
